Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Club, the cornerstone of the UK jazz scene and one of the most famous jazz clubs in the world announces a new partnership with Blue Note At Sea, produced by Entertainment Cruise Productions, LLC. The iconic jazz venue will recreate it’s Soho home onboard the cruise ship as Ronnie Scott’s At The Revelation Lounge, featuring its very own Ronnie Scott’s All Stars band to perform for guests every night of the weeklong Caribbean voyage. Ronnie Scott’s At The Revelation Lounge will evoke the spirit of the influential club through its replicated décor, gourmet menu and drinks – including their world renowned Espresso Martini and Smoking Vespa – exclusively for guests on the ship.
“For over 50 years, the greatest jazz musicians on earth have traveled to London to perform on our stage,” said Managing Director Simon Cooke. “And now, for the first time ever, we’re taking the spirit of Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Club directly to the fans and the music. We are excited to be bringing a piece of England’s history – and a great deal of its talent – aboard Blue Note At Sea in 2017.”

Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Club is one of London’s cultural icons, hosting performances by the biggest names in jazz since it opened in 1959. The club remains an intimate venue where artists feel at home and jazz royalty can be found alongside young talent any night of the week. Ronnie Scott’s is also known for its series of live albums recorded on its stages, featuring performances by the legends of jazz: Chet Baker, Ella Fitzgerald, Maynard Ferguson, Stan Getz, Nina Simone, Sarah Vaughan and dozens more. CNN named Ronnie Scott’s in their list of 9 Best Jazz Clubs in the world and it was the subject of an acclaimed BBC documentary.
Throughout its history, Ronnie Scott’s has always had a band of supremely talented house musicians available to open for the headline act or to perform at a moment’s notice – Joss Stone, Jeff Beck, Katie Melua, Will Young, Dionne Warwick, Houston Person, Carleen Anderson, Jon Hendricks and more have all delighted in jamming with them! They also tour the world, including The Dubai Jazz Festival, The Rochester Jazz Festival (NY), Birdland Jazz Club, the Queen’s celebration of the arts (2012), they’ve even played beneath the great Matterhorn in Switzerland!
Ronnie Scott’s At The Revelation Lounge promises to deliver a week of exciting late night shows, performing well-known jazz standards alongside modern classics. Led by the ebullient and highly acclaimed pianist James Pearson and fronted by stellar vocalist Natalie Williams, the Ronnie Scott’s All Stars is a six-piece combo that exemplifies the classic post-bop sound of the great era of jazz.
