Will the entertainers be onboard the whole time?

The vast majority of our artists will be onboard the ship for the entire cruise. However, there may be some cases where an artist must join us during the trip or depart early due to schedule or family commitments.

What does the price of the cruise include?

In addition to admission to all of the amazing performances and onboard events produced by Entertainment Cruise Productions, all of the standard items associated with Celebrity Cruises are included; all meals, 24 hour room service (except when ordered between 11pm and 6am when there is a $4.95 per fee per room service order), non-carbonated beverages (i.e. coffee, juices, tea, etc.), use of the ship’s beautiful pools, health & fitness center, and casino.

The price does not include airfare, ground transportation, onboard purchases (i.e. spa services, alcoholic beverages, gift shop, etc), gambling, excursions, specialty restaurants, or travel insurance.

Entertainment Cruise Productions strongly encourages the purchase of travel insurance. Please inquire at the time of booking about travel insurance, as certain preconditions mandate purchase within 15 days of your reservation to be effective.

Yes, Entertainment Cruise Productions does offer group rates at a hotel servicing the Ft. Lauderdale area.

Do you offer hotel to ship transfers?

Entertainment Cruise Productions operates a Cruise Hotel Pickup program if you are staying at an ECP Cruise Hotel. For $15/person, we will take you from the Cruise Hotel you are staying in to the port. Your luggage will be loaded on the motor coach by our team and you will be assisted at the port by another set of porters that we will arrange for. No tips. No lifting. The Cruise Hotel Pick Up Service is the perfect way to make the morning of the cruise go as easily as possible for you.

Is there long term parking available at the pier?

Yes, there is long-term covered parking available near the pier with Premier Cruise Parking. The special discounted rate is $9.50 per day plus tax. Please use Promo Code:

What type of identification will I need to board the ship?

For United States Citizens:

Celebrity strongly recommends that all guests travel with a valid passport with at least six (6) months validity during their cruise (and if traveling to Ecuador, it is required). This greatly assists guests who may need to fly out of the United States to meet their ship at the next available port should they miss their scheduled embarkation in a U.S. port; guests entering the U.S. at the end of their cruise; and guests needing to fly to the U.S. before their cruise ends because of medical, family, personal or business emergencies, missing a ship’s departure from a port of call, involuntary disembarkation from a ship due to misconduct, or other reasons. Guests who need to fly to the United States before their cruise ends will likely experience significant delays and complications related to booking airline tickets and entering the United States if they do not have a valid U.S. passport with them. For additional passport information, visit the U.S Department of State website or the passport service of your choice, such as CIBT website – Passport and Visa Service. Option 1: U.S. citizens that board a cruise ship at a port within the U.S., travel within the Western Hemisphere, and return to the same U.S. port on the same ship will require a valid Passport, U.S. Passport Card, Enhanced Driver’s License or Trusted Traveler Program Card such as Nexus, Sentri or Fast.

Option 2: In the absence of any of the documents listed above, U.S. citizens will need to present BOTH an identification and citizenship document from each of the lists below in order to board the ship.

Will I receive a packet of information in the mail once the reservation is complete?

Immediately following the completion of the reservation, we send an email confirmation with a reservation number.

Approximately 4 months prior to sailing, we will send out a Get Ready letter. This Get Ready Letter will highlight what to expect on your upcoming cruise. (example; attire and additional information on programming)

Approximately 2 months prior to sailing, we will send out final documents. In these documents, you will find your booking number where you can go to celebritycruises.com to complete your pre-boarding check in. You can print your check in documents and boarding passes at that time. The booking number will also allow you to purchase excursions, make spa appointments, make dinner reservations at one of the specialty restaurants onboard, etc.

Paperless Documents and Online Check-In

Celebrity has eliminated the cumbersome document booklet and has adopted an eco-friendly online check- in procedure that will certainly save you time and energy when you board the ship. You will be sent a unique booking number approximately 2 months prior to the cruise and be directed to the Celebrity website to complete your boarding documents. By completing this process now, you will minimize your time standing in lines on your departure date.

How do I book shore excursions?

Approximately 60 days prior to sailing you will receive a booking number. You can then visit celebritycruises.com, select “Already Booked?” then select “Shore Excursions”. We enjoy many late nights on the ship, so we recommend that you carefully consider any early excursions.  This booking number is required to book your excursions.  The phone number to the shore excursions desk is 1.888.554.2484. A reservation can be made online up to 3 days prior to departure date (as space allows). You may also make reservations onboard the ship at the Shore Excursions office on Deck 3, the Main deck of the ship. Your shore excursion confirmation/tickets will be in an envelope in your cabin typically 2 days prior to the excursion.

How Much Luggage May I Bring?

Most of us over-pack for the cruise. It is just part of the drill. To help you avoid this problem, remember that our dress code at night is “resort casual.” Our “dress up” night is simply business suits and dresses. The cruise is really not a fashion show, but folks do look good. Before you complete your packing, take a quick look at the Theme Nights section of your Get Ready Letter or Document Package. You may want to add a few more things to your cruise wardrobe! Hopefully, that is helpful.

What is the dress code for the cruise?

The dress code is casual during the daytime and for evenings is smart casual resort wear. i.e. slacks, collared shirts, khakis, skirts, dresses, etc. We have themed nights each evening, which will be disclosed in your Get Ready Letter and one of those is a “Formal” night.

Is there a formal night/Captain’s dinner?

There is no Captain’s Dinner but there is one “Formal” night onboard where you are encouraged to “Dress to the Nines.” It’s as easy as it sounds; our “formal” night is simply business suits and dresses, no black ties or gowns.

What is the performance schedule for the cruise?

Upon boarding the ship, you will receive your Souvenir Program for the week, which outlines all of the times and venues for the events and concerts. Take a moment to read the Souvenir Program and begin to map out your activities for the week.

What time should I schedule my flights?

Boarding on the day of the cruise begins by noon. The ship leaves promptly at 4:00pm and there is a mandatory safety drill, so we ask that everyone arrive at the pier no later than 3:00pm. The ship returns to port by 7:00am the day of disembarkation. Due to the time it takes to clear Customs and Immigration at the cruise terminal and to navigate security checkpoints at the airport, we do not recommend any flight scheduled prior to 11:00am from the Ft. Lauderdale Airport or 12:00pm from the Miami airport. The Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport is approximately 15 minutes from Port Everglades. Depending on traffic, the Miami airport is 30-45 minutes from Port Everglades.

Onboard Details

Are there mainstage show lounge performances?

There are two main shows nightly in the Celebrity Theater, which comfortably holds half of our guests. When making your reservation, you will be asked to pick a show time, either 6pm or 9pm; both performances will be the same. For the duration of your cruise, you will then attend the nightly mainstage performance at your preselected show time.

What are the mainstage show lounge policies and procedures?

To ensure that the entry and seating procedure for Blue Note At Sea is both fair and easy, we have adopted the following policies and procedures:

You must present your Cruise Identification Card to enter the theater. This card also serves as your charge card and room key, so everyone should have that card with them at all times. Those guests with Reserved Seating will need to present their Reserved Seating Card as well.

  • Doors will open for each show 20 minutes before scheduled show time.
  • There are entrances to the Celebrity Theater on Decks 4 and Decks 5. No other entrance is available for the guests.
  • Though guests may line up outside the venue, they must do so in pairs. To facilitate this and to prevent the line from swelling, ropes monitored by ushers will be utilized.
  • No one may hold a place in line for more than one other person.
  • When the doors are opened, the guests will file in as pairs.
  • Once in the Mainstage Show Lounge, if the guest in question is in the General Admission Seating Program, said guest may reserve only one additional seat.
  • The taking of flash photos and the recording of the shows violates our contracts with the performers. Since it is impossible to easily discern what type of equipment can record, no   electronic equipment of any kind will be allowed in the Mainstage Show Lounge during the shows.

Are there restaurants on the ship that have an additional fee?

Yes, there are specialty restaurants that have additional fees.

  • Blu: Breakfast and Dinner. Intimately elegant, yet fresh and modern serving a “clean Cuisine”. Aqua Class guest have priority seating.
  • Bistro on Five: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner and Late Night. Globally inspired crêpes, soups, salads, sandwiches, daily specials, shakes, floats and the best chocolate mousse ever.
  • Café al Bacio & Gelateria: A great place to relax, any time of day and enjoy freshly baked waffles, a perfect cup of expresso, light sandwiches for lunch or an after dinner coffee cocktail and dessert.
  • Luminae: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner. A culinary experience of modern, eclectic cutting-edge dishes and extraordinary service.
  • Qsine: Dinner only. Unique and Unordinary culinary journey that delivers elements of surprise and delight. Interactive iPad menus help make for a more fun dining experience.
  • Tuscan Grille: Lunch and Dinner. American Steak house with Italian flair, fresh pastas, great wine, and premium aged cuts and great Italian deserts.

 Are reservations required for the specialty restaurants?

For all the specialty restaurants on board, reservations are not necessary in order to be served.  However, due to the popularity of these restaurants, availability is extremely limited without a reservation.  It is highly recommended that reservations be made online or once on board.

Is there smoking allowed on the ship?

For your comfort and enjoyment, Celebrity Summit is designated as non-smoking; however, we recognize that some of our guests smoke. Therefore, cigarette, cigar and pipe smoking is permitted in designated outdoor areas of the ship. Smoking is not permitted in any dining venue, casino, theater, lounge, hallway, elevator, or corridor. This policy includes smoking-like products such as electronic cigarettes. Smoking is not permitted inside any stateroom, nor on any stateroom veranda. If you are in violation of this policy, a cleaning fee of $250 USD will be applied to your SeaPass® account and you may be subject to further action pursuant to the “Consequences Section” of the Guest Conduct Policy. Cigarettes, cigars and pipe tobacco must be properly disposed of and never thrown overboard. You must be at least 18 years of age to purchase, possess or use tobacco onboard.

Additionally, there is a non-smoking policy on all components of the land tour portion of all Celebrity Cruises Cruise tour products. We appreciate your understanding and adherence.

Is there a fitness center?

Yes, there is a full service fitness facility onboard the ship. It is located on Deck 10, Lido Deck. There is complimentary access to all the weight/cardio equipment. There is a fee for the different fitness classes offered.

Does every cabin have an iron and a hair dryer?

All stateroom bathrooms are equipped with a wall-mounted hair dryer. Steamers or irons are not allowed onboard.

Are there laundry facilities onboard?

Full laundry and dry-cleaning services are available onboard for reasonable rates. Rates will be available in your cabin.

Do cell phones work on the ship? Is there an Internet connection?

While you’re on the cruise you can use your cell phone to make and receive calls, send and receive text messages, access email and surf the web. Cell phone coverage can be intermittent and it is quite expensive. For questions about your service, rates or billing, please contact your home carrier before sailing. Cellular service is available once the ship enters international waters. When you’re at sea and the system is on, depending on the type of phone you have, you will see “NOR18,” “901-18” or “cellularatsea” on your mobile display. You will be billed at international roaming rates, and charges will show on your monthly cellular bill from your home carrier.

  • Social Package: $109 for 240 minutes
  • Day Pass: $58 a day (One full day of continuous access)
  • Unlimited Package: $199 for a 6-9 day voyage
  • As You Go: $.079 per minute (only available for purchase onboard)

 How are the gratuities designated?

Gratuities are included in the cost of your cruise. Your cabin steward and dining room staff receive the gratuities included in the per person price you paid for your cruise. If you feel you have received superior, above-and-beyond service, we highly recommend that you leave an additional gratuity.

General FAQ’s

What should I know about the Zika virus before sailing?

On January 15, 2016 the US CDC upgraded their travel notice for Zika virus to Alert Level 2 (practice enhanced precautions). Zika virus is transmitted by mosquitoes, and symptoms include fever, headache, red eyes, rash, and joint pain. The illness is usually mild and lasts between 2-7 days. However, the alert specifically references women who are pregnant or who are trying to become pregnant. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. The notice currently only affects specific cruises calling in to certain Caribbean, Central America, and South America countries. +However, the situation is evolving so please regularly check the affected areas via the following link: Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Guests are reminded to take enhanced precautions against biting insects by covering exposed skin, and using insect repellent. Special Dietary Needs

Special dietary needs must be submitted to Access department at 866-592-7225 or special_needs@celebrity.com.

Kosher diets must be requested 45 days prior to sailing.

Specific allergy requests must be made 2 weeks prior to sailing.

Distilled water must be requested 2 weeks prior to sailing.

Available meal types:  Diabetic, lean & light, low cholesterol, low sodium, vegetarian, Indian vegetarian, kosher, gluten free, and lactose free.

Dialysis Treatment

Guests requiring continuous ambulatory peritoneal dialysis are welcome to board all Celebrity Cruises vessels. However, Celebrity Cruises does not have the ability to assist or administer hemo-dialysis treatments. Guests using peritoneal dialysis should have all solutions and equipment needed to perform the dialysis delivered to the vessel on the day of sailing at least two hours prior to sailing. Please contact the Celebrity Access Department for more information on policies and procedures.

Visual Disabilities

Celebrity has made the cruise experience as effortless as possible for guests who are blind or have low vision. Braille signage and elevator buttons are available on Celebrity Solstice® Class ships, Celebrity Constellation®, and Celebrity Infinity®. The Celebrity crew and staff are on available to assist you. Please contact the Celebrity Access Department for more information on policies and procedures.

Celebrity provides Qualified Readers onboard for guests who are blind or have low vision. Select Celebrity crew members have been trained as Qualified Readers to read written material such as the daily Celebrity Today newsletter and shore excursions information. Waiters will also read dining menus upon request. To request Qualified Readers for your cruise, please contact Guest Relations upon boarding.

Mobility Disabilities

Extra Assistance at the Pier

Celebrity Cruises offers boarding and departure assistance with wheelchairs to guests with mobility disabilities. Request assistance once you arrive at the pier or contact us prior to your cruise so that we may prioritize your assistance to go onboard. During peak times there may be a wait for assistance.

While many ports provide easy access for wheelchairs and scooters, however due to various conditions: steepness of the gangway, tendering, weather, tidal and sea conditions, and shore-side facilities, guests using assistive devices may be precluded from getting on or off the ship.

We will make reasonable efforts to assist our guests, but for safety reasons, our staff is not permitted to lift guests or equipment. Assistance with manual wheelchairs, walkers, canes, etc. will be provided.
