They kept the great, and upgraded the rest.
Our first sailings with Celebrity were in 2016. At that time we told our guests that we selected Celebrity Cruises because they offered them the very best opportunities to enjoy our music and shows. The venues were numerous, comfortable and built for the purpose of presenting shows. Plus, the layout of the main dining room was perfect for shows as well, thus adding a brand new music venue.
From the start, guests agreed overwhelmingly with that judgment. They loved the venues. No one was “shutout” of a show and seats were plentiful, but there were issues as to other accommodations, mainly the staterooms. We asked you to be patient and trust us that the stateroom issues would be addressed. Well, the wait is over.
We had faith that Celebrity would do a great job with their ship renovation program,
but the end product surpassed our expectations.
Our ship, Celebrity Infinity, goes into dry dock before the 2021 sailings for an $84M renovation program that they call “Revolution”. Each and every stateroom will be taken down to the metal and a brand new room, brand new bedding, brand new electronics, etc. will be installed. We have sailed on our sister ship, Celebrity Summit, after its Revolution and the differences are stunning. Take a look at any stateroom. You can see both the “before” and the amazing “after”.
Look for wonderful renovations to the Oceanview Café and The Trellis Restaurant. And, most importantly, be pleased that, though the music venues have been upgraded, in all respects the integrity of those rooms has remained untouched. Great music venues and brand new staterooms.
AND THEY DIDN’T STOP AT THE STATEROOMS...
Look for wonderful renovations to the Oceanview Café and The Trellis Restaurant. And, most importantly, be pleased that, though the music venues have been upgraded, in all respects the integrity of those rooms has remained untouched. Great music venues and brand new staterooms… That works!
